Halloween may have been last week but the internet is still recovering from the slayage that was Beyonce paying homage to the original Queen Bee for Halloween, Lil Kim. The Single Ladies singer released five photos on her personal website dressed as the legendary rapper. Bey gushed “hip-hop would not be the same without our original Queen Bee.”
Bey’s first look was recreating the Crush On You rapper’s look in Missy Elliot’sThe Rain video. She wore red hot pants paired with the Chanel suspenders to a party with her husband Jay-Z who dressed as the legendary Notorious B.I.G. She then later shooked the internet by posting herself in four more iconic looks from Lil Kim.
Lil Kim herself was like the rest of the internet and took to social media to show her gratitude.

Queen Bey dressing as the Queen Bee is truly iconic and I think it’s safe to say that Beyonce has set the bar high for Halloween costumes and it may be hard for anyone to top that next year.
