Rapper Chika is not afraid to air her opinion. On Tuesday, she took to Twitter to air our Kylie Jenner, who she says built her billion-dollar industry on a lie.
“kylie jenner got lip injections, lied about it, saying it was just the way she lines them, creating a wave of yt women looking like mirandasings, then made a brand of lipkits (ya know, capitalizing on a lie), & then sold the company to a billionaire corporation to deceive forbes,” Chika tweeted.
We see no lies here.
Jenner looks very different these days from the awkward, shy teenager she used to be. And not in the way that most of us can relate to.
Overnight, the reality television star went from having no lips at all — to a fully plumped pair before launching her cosmetics brand, “Kylie Cosmetics.” Her lip kits literally catapulted her to mogul status.
In 2014, she over-lined her lips with lip liner to achieve her full pout.
“When I got my lips done, I literally told no one! I didn’t tell my best friend or even the guy I liked at the time. I really thought it was no one’s business. My mom was super-against it, but I begged her and begged her, and she finally let me do it,” she told Teen Vogue.
The following year she confessed to having lip injections at the age of 16.
“Afterwards, I thought it was so obvious, I didn’t have to say anything. I never denied it, because I always told my publicist ‘no lip questions,’ so no one ever asked me. I never said I got them done, but I never denied it, either. But people thought I was such a liar!” she says.
Chika’s tweet received a lot of pushback from Jenner stans. But no matter how heavy the hate… the facts remain.
