Eartha Kitt apparently wasn’t just fierce on screen. According to Jackée Harry herself, Kitt once slapped her!
Fans were left gagging when Jackée Harry casually revealed on Twitter that Eartha Kitt, the legendary Catwoman herself, once slapped the “f%#!” out of her. The reason was because of a man. And not just any man. A dual piano-playing heartbreaker who somehow managed to romance not one but two of the fiercest women ever to grace a stage or screen.
In a moment of Twitter gold, a fan asked Jackée about the most surreal celebrity experience she’d ever had. Jackée didn’t miss a beat:
“Eartha Kitt slapped the f%#! outta me! She thought I was sleeping with her boyfriend… Which I was, but I didn’t know he was taken,” she tweeted, with a broken heart emoji for extra flavor.
The streets of Twitter exploded. Fans were shook, and honestly, who wouldn’t be? Eartha Kitt didn’t just serve looks. She served justice! And in true Jackée fashion, she kept it playful.
When a fan marveled that a man managed to pull both her and Eartha, Jackée cracked, “He was a dual piano ‘playa.’ We didn’t know he was going to tickle both of our keys.”
Fortunately or unfortunately, Jackée didn’t name the mystery Casanova, but she did own her role in the chaos. She admitted she was romantically involved with Eartha’s boyfriend, unknowingly, of course, and reflected with her usual humor and a refreshing dose of accountability.
In another post on X, she wrote, “Aside from Eartha Kitt, I’ve been slapped by two other famous women at the same damn party. SMH. That’s the kind of tea I want to spill in my book while also reflecting on why I deserved it.”

Kitt was truly a pioneer in every way imaginable. With a voice that could both charm and fiercely command attention, she enchanted audiences across the globe. Her depiction of Catwoman in the 1960s “Batman” series is still legendary, combining clever humor with a seductive mystique that challenged stereotypes.
Eartha Kitt passed away in 2008 at the age of 81. The singer of “C’est Si Bon” is survived by her daughter, Kitt McDonald, from her marriage to William O. McDonald, which lasted from 1960 to 1964.
