Erica Mena to Wendy Williams: ‘You Were Right About Safaree’

Reality television star Erica Mena sent a message out to daytime talk show host Wendy Williams last week.

She says she was right about her husband, Safaree Samuels.

The message was relayed to Williams by Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta cast member Spice during the June 18 episode of The Wendy Williams Show, Mena’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

The Jamaican dancehall artist made an appearance alongside Shaggy and Sean Paul.

“She said you were right,” Spice told Williams. “I don’t know what you said, but whatever you said about Safaree.”

Safaree has been accused of cheating and of being a “corny” clout chaser.

Williams told Spice what she had told Mena, “I said don’t have him in the birth room when you deliver, divorce him and go on with your life while you’re still young and can get another,” adding that he likes Safaree but that the wannabe rapper is “trouble.”

It was not too long ago that Mena was threatening Williams with violence.

After hearing that the couple had announced, once again, that they wanted a divorce, Williams weighed in.

“I don’t really know you Erica but I do know Safaree enough. You all need to stop fighting and threatening divorce so much. You all need to grow up and grow into being parents,” she said on her show. “And if you’re not gonna want to be married then just get a divorce and co-parent. And babies don’t save marriages but good luck with at least your first six months.”

Mena quickly hopped on Twitter to fire back at Williams.

“@WendyWilliams At this point let’s link up so I can beat your a**. Your ex-husband didn’t do a good job enough.”

Mena and Safaree are expecting their second child and Safaree recently disclosed that his expectant, estranged wife has banned him from the delivery room.

Now we all know why Mena made the decision.
