Faith Evans Honored With Lady of Soul Award At 2018 Soul Train Awards

Multi Grammy award winning singer-songwriter, and producer Faith Evans was honored with The Lady of Soul Award by her former labelmate, Love & Hip- Hop reality star, and new husband, Stevie J. See her acceptance speech here.

The First Lady of Bad Boy left it all on the Stage during the 2018 Soul Train Awards, which premiered last night on BET. Wearing her signature blonde tresses and an all-black pantsuit with matching bustier, Evans performed a few of her hits, “Soon As I Get Home”, “ Use to Love Me”, and brought out Carl Thomas for “Can’t Believe”. Grown woman power was on full display during the awards this year, with Erykah Badu receiving the Living Legend Award, Ledisi taking home the Soul Train Certified Award and sitcom legends Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell hosting the star-studded event.
