From Homelessness to Empowerment: Cheryl Cross Helps Entrepreneurs Rise

Cheryl Cross, a formerly homeless immigrant, is on a mission to help 1,000 Black entrepreneurs build their businesses.

She hopes to bring progress to entrepreneurs through her consulting firm, Consultant Proficiency Resources.

From a fractured family life in the U.S. to becoming a CEO, radio host, and author, Cross exemplifies resilience and determination.

Migrating from the Caribbean at age 12, she faced homelessness and separation from her family before eventually reuniting in Brooklyn.

Despite challenges, she excelled academically, earning an MBA and becoming a doctoral candidate in global business. Today, she provides leadership coaching, business analytics, and branding services, drawing from her own journey.

Through her Rags-2-Royalty eBook series, radio programs, and masterclasses, she empowers individuals to transform adversity into success.

Cross also recently discovered her connection to decorated Caribbean soldier and statesman Ulric Cross, further cementing her legacy of resilience and leadership.
