Social media creator @ciennarosalina (Sienna) has gone viral after opening up about her relationship with her partner LaShawn, a fellow transgender content creator, in a heartfelt Instagram video posted on July 4, 2024.
In the video, Sienna introduces herself and LaShawn, explaining that she transitioned to a trans woman at 20, while LaShawn transitioned to a trans man at 19.
The couple, now 23 and 24, have been together for two years, supporting each other through milestones, including LaShawn’s top surgery in 2022.
Sienna recalled that their story began when LaShawn joined one of her TikTok lives. At first, she wasn’t paying him much attention—until followers encouraged her to check out his page.
“Lo and behold I saw this handsome gentleman,” she shared.
Their bond deepened when LaShawn revealed he didn’t have support during recovery from his top surgery.
Sienna stepped in to provide comfort, and the two grew closer, eventually starting a long-distance relationship before moving in together in Florida in January 2024.
“Not everybody understands our love, not everybody understands us, and not everybody understands our transition,” Sienna said. “But luckily none of those things matter as long as we love each other and have an understanding and we care about each other.”
The couple’s openness has resonated with thousands online, many of whom praised their authenticity and courage in navigating love, identity, and acceptance in a world that often struggles to understand transgender relationships.
