Sports anchor Jemele Hill is leaving SportsCenter and heading to ESPN‘s The Undefeated.
The Undefeated centers on the intersection of sports, race, and culture. According to CNN, the move was confirmed to CNNMoney via a reliable source, and Hill chose The Undefeated as her new place of work. She will also be focusing on assignments, according to people familiar with the situation.
In the past, Hill has come under fire for calling President Trump a “white supremacist” and encouraging sponsors to pull advertising money amid the NFL protests.
I wish Jemele Hill good fortune on her future endeavors. It's a shame she won't be on SC anymore. An ever bigger shame is all the cowards on social media talking that big money talk.
They just. Don't. Get it.

The Undefeated just came all the way up by adding Jemele Hill to their full-time roster. I envision the future of that site being a voice for the black athlete and there is no better conduit than Hill.
