The drama at The Breakfast Club is hotter than a midday debate segment. Co-host Jess Hilarious has unleashed a fiery Instagram rant, accusing the iconic radio show’s team of sidelining her in favor of newcomer Loren Larosa, and she’s not mincing words.

Jess, who joined the show in 2022 as Angela Yee’s permanent replacement, quickly became a fan favorite for her unfiltered takes and comedic flair. But tensions began brewing when she took maternity leave early in her pregnancy last year. Enter Loren Larosa, a sharp, well-prepared fill-in host who won over listeners with her polished delivery and deep dives into stories. By the time Jess returned, fans were clamoring for Loren to stay—and management listened.

Loren’s guest appearances evolved into a permanent gig, culminating in her newly launched segment, “The Latest with Loren,” which replaced Jess’s beloved “Jess with the Mess.” The rebrand didn’t sit well with Jess, who felt the move undercut her role.

At this time, everything seemed to be going well, and everyone seemed to be doing great until comedian Corey Holcomb, a longtime Jess critic, declared Loren “superior” to Jess during a recent podcast, sparking online chaos.

Jess fired back, but instead of targeting Holcomb, she called out her co-hosts Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy for their silence.

“We’re supposed to be a team, but not one person comes to my defense at all. Ever. I feel played with, so I’m gonna play with **gas. I’ve been quiet a lot.”

She even shaded the show’s past, hinting at why Angela Yee left after 13 years. “With this online sh*t. Angela Yee ain’t that motherf*cking crazy. Not as crazy as n*ggas try to make her out to be. There’s a reason that the lady wanted to leave that show. I don’t know how she did that sh*t for 13 years.”

While Jess admitted to initial “misplaced” friction with Loren, she acknowledged the fill-in host’s talent. Still, she insists the job isn’t what she signed up for.

Is there enough room for both Jess Hilarious and Loren Lorosa, or is this the beginning of another major Breakfast Club exit?
