K. Michelle has social media talking again after opening up about ways in which her husband can cheat in their marriage during a candid appearance on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe.
The singer didn’t hold back while discussing what she considers acceptable and unacceptable in her relationship. According to K. Michelle, casual encounters are not what would upset her most. For her, the real issue starts when money and emotional investment enter the picture.
During the interview, Shannon Sharpe asked her how she would react if someone came to her claiming her husband had done things with another woman that he had never done with her.
“Sexually? That’s not possible,” K. Michelle answered confidently. “It’s been that many years. All types of positions. Legs up. Choreography. All that.”
She continued by explaining that her concerns have less to do with physical attraction and more to do with financial loyalty. “If you gonna tell me my husband was out with you and he paid your light bill, then we are gonna have a problem,” she said.
K. Michelle described her personal rule in simple terms, joking that it should stay “poke and go.” In her view, crossing the line happens when a man begins financially supporting another woman or spending money in ways she feels belong inside the relationship.
“The feeling doesn’t include paying bills,” she explained. “If that’s your feeling, then you’re not my man.”
The singer also made it clear that gifts and financial favors would bother her more than outside attention itself. “You shouldn’t be paying nobody’s bills, buying them purses,” she added, before joking that the women involved were probably “singing my songs in the mirror” afterward.
