Love & Hip Hop: New York star Kimbella James, formerly known as Vanderhee, recently visited The Breakfast Club to where she addressed remarks that cast member Yandy Smith made about her fight with Chrissy Lampkin back in season 2.
Kimbella as on the radio show to premiere her husband, Dipset member Juelz Santana’s new music, as he is still behind bars after security found a loaded gun and oxycodone pills in his carry-on bag at Newark Liberty International Airport
When Kimbella first joined the first, she thought it would be a good time to tell Emily B. that she had an affair with rapper Fabolous, the father of her children. Kimbella made the startling in front of the rest of the ladies, and Chrissy — who is one of Emily’s closest pals, attacked Kimbella.
The fight went down as one of the most explosive moments in the history of the franchise.
Yandy said that Kimbella “deserved” the beatdown, but Kimbella says she has no idea why Yandy is mad.
“That’s the issue that I have. That fight happened and I don’t know why we’re still talking about it 10 years later,” she said. “At the end of the day, me and Chrissy decided to sit down…she ended up apologizing, we put everything on the table and we decided to move on as two grown women. Now fast forward, [Yandy] decided to continue to be mad about that situation for I don’t know why. Why are you now still talking about this issue that was 10 years ago that we decided to move forward from? I don’t know what the f*ck she’s mad at.”
She and Chrissy are fine these days, so there is hope that former friends Kimbella and Yandy could kiss and make up some time in the future.
