Whispers of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Mary Cosby’s exit have been circulating for weeks and yesterday, the controversial Housewife appeared to confirm the reports.
“Silence is Enough! To The Leaders of the world..’ My Followers” & New Ones”! I Love you! 💖Thank you for your Love#❤️❤️❤️ & Support,” she captioned a post of herself.
Her followers immediately determined that the church leader had announced that she would not be returning for the show’s third season.
Hours later, a source told Page Six that Mary is out.
“Mary will not be back,” the source shared. “She did not enjoy her time on the show or form any strong bonds with the ladies.”
Mary faced the chop after refusing to film the second season reunion.
Mary’s estranged parents claimed that the reality television star did not want to marry her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby, Sr during a sit-down interview with “Up and Adam Live.”
“Mary was not Bob Cosby’s first choice,” her father insists. “She does not want to be married to her step-grandfather; she never did want to be married to him.”
The father of the controversial pastor says her step-grandfather used her late grandmother’s words and twisted them to get her to marry him. He also bombarded her with expensive gifts. “He convinced her by saying, ‘Mama wanted you to marry me,’ plus here’s a couple hundred thousand dollars, and it’s your birthday; here’s a BMW,” her father continued.
Mary’s estranged father also doubled down on the rumors that the Cosby’s church is really a cult.
“She needs to remove herself very quickly because, under Bob Cosby, it is a cult.”
During the last season, Mary constantly denied claims her church is a cult. She also faced backlash after being accused of racism by Jennie Nguyen, after Mary referred to her “slanty eyes.”
