Singer and songwriter Jaguar Wright has turned on the heat on Sean “Diddy” Combs shortly after he settled a lawsuit with his former partner, Casandra Ventura, aka Cassie.
Wright, who is also an actress and music whistleblower, feels it is not enough for Cassie to let Diddy off the hook so easily with the undisclosed settlement.
Jaguar Wright, real name Jacquelyn Suzette Wright-Johnson, 46, wants Cassie to end what she believes to be Diddy’s callousness by revealing how the Bad Boy Records mogul allegedly killed his former partner, Kim Porter.
“Cassie, I will advocate for you. Because see, I know something that a lot of people don’t know: I know you and Kim had a sit down right before she left us!
“I know Kim had very good advice to give and I believe that these are why things are happening as they are happening now,” she said in a video released recently.
Before she died, Kim Porter disclosed that she was writing a tell-all book about the rap music industry, and having been close to Diddy, there was high expectation the book would shed light on the rapper’s dark world.
“We decided to do the book because, I’m not a rapper obviously, but I’ve been in the business for a long time,” she said in an interview when news of the book that was never published hit headlines.
Then she suddenly died in 2018 and her computer containing the manuscript for the book disappeared.
Excerpts of the book that hit online shortly after Porter died contained salacious allegations about the men that Diddy slept with and his problems with STDs. According to one particular report, the book even gave a detailed account of how Diddy gave Usher STD.
This is not the first time Diddy has been accused of eliminating Porter because of what she knew. Some individuals close to Diddy even claimed the rapper physically assaulted Porter many times.
Diddy was accused of poisoning Porter although the LA County Coroner has officially attributed the death of the model and actress to lobar pneumonia.
For many commentators, Diddy’s swift decision to settle with Cassie is strong proof the rapper is guilty of the allegations of rape and sex trafficking.
Just one day after filing the explosive lawsuit against Diddy, Cassie settled with him to keep her allegations out of a courtroom.
The singer had accused her former partner of subjecting her to years of abuse during their relationship in a complaint filed last Thursday, Nov. 16 in the federal District Court in Manhattan. Diddy had denied the allegations through his attorney.
But in a surprising move late Friday, the two announced the case was over before any proceedings could begin.
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” said Cassie, 37, in a statement. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably,” said Combs, 54. “I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
No details of the settlement were announced.
The public would be eagerly checking to see if Cassie would take Jaguar Wright’s advice.
