RHOP star Mia Thorton’s estranged husband, Gordon Thorton, has said in a video published on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023, that he’s convinced that Mia only married him for money.
In a recent interview with TMZ, Gordon reveals that he’s given Mia “permission” to be with another man because he knew that he wouldn’t be able to satisfy her sexually due to his age.
Gordon, who is currently 71, recently had prostate cancer surgery. He says that despite giving her a pass, Mia continued to sneak around, lie, and change her story about why she was leaving him.
According to Gordon, Mia told him that this new mystery man is her soulmate and they are planning to buy a house and do business together.
He believes that Mia is ultimately leaving him because of his financial troubles and this new relationship is based on monetary gain.
Gordon went on to allege that Mia’s appetite for money is both the cause for the implosion of their union and the firing up of her new situation.
Gordon’s business woes are well-documented and Mia’s unnamed flame is said to be wealthy and already planning business ventures with the polarizering ‘Potomac’ star.
Regarding his present stance on Mia, Gordon was emphatic when he said:
“My desire is to never ever be associated with her beyond our co-parent situation.”
The ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ returns to Bravo on November 5. Per the explosive season 8 trailer, the breakdown of The Gordons’ marriage will form a central focus.
The “Real Housewives” franchise continues to expand across America, with this edition landing in Potomac, Md., a community of rolling hills and gated mansions just up the Potomac River from Washington, D.C.
