Golf legend Tiger Woods has announced the passing of his mother, Kultida Woods, early Monday morning.
In a heartfelt statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Woods expressed his profound grief:
“It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning. My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with the needle and a laugh. She was my biggest fan, greatest supporter; without her, none of my personal achievements would have been possible. She was loved by so many.”

Kultida Woods, born in Thailand, met Earl Woods in 1966 while working as a receptionist in Bangkok.
The couple married in 1969 and welcomed their son, Eldrick “Tiger” Woods, in December 1975.

Kultida was instrumental in Tiger’s upbringing, instilling discipline and a strong work ethic that would become hallmarks of his illustrious career.

She was often seen supporting her son at tournaments, including his memorable 2019 Masters victory.
The cause of her death has not been disclosed. Tiger Woods has requested privacy during this difficult time as he and his family mourn their loss.
