Naomi Campbell is correcting misconceptions about her experience using surrogacy.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell confirms that she welcomed both of her children through surrogacy and claims she was “never looking” for a father.
The 54-year-old supermodel, who has a 12-month-old son and a 3-year-old daughter, revealed that she wasn’t pregnant when she talked about how much her kids mean to her.
She had also previously acknowledged that her daughter wasn’t adopted.
In 2021, Campbell revealed that she welcomed her first child — a daughter — at 51. The mother-daughter graced the British Vogue cover together.
She made an announcement about her son’s arrival two years later.
Speaking to The Times, Noami Campbell discussed how much her children mean to her.
When asked whether she used a surrogate, the model replied: ‘I did. I hope for a better world for my children,” Naomi told The media outlet. “They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.”
Naomi continued by saying she was content with being “a single mother of a single mum” and had never looked for a father for her children.
“My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future.”
Campbell is notoriously quiet about her personal life but has a few past lovers on the record, including Robert De Niro (early 1990s), Adam Clayton (1992-1993), Leonardo DiCaprio (1995), Flavio Briatore (1998-2003) and Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin (2008-2013).
In another part of the interview, she disclosed that she would not allow her daughter to enter the workforce at age 15, as she did, having begun her career at seventeen with her first cover shoot.
Noami Campbell, who flew overseas to New Orleans for her first Elle photo shoot at the age of 15, stated she would find it awkward for her now two-year-old to begin working at such a young age.
