Natalia Bryant Honors Father’s Legacy in Nike’s Kobe 3 Protro ‘Halo’ Campaign

Nike has placed Natalia Bryant, the eldest daughter of the late Kobe Bryant, at the heart of its latest campaign for the Kobe 3 Protro “Halo.”

The reintroduction of the iconic sneaker, first worn during Kobe’s 2007–08 MVP season, now carries an even more personal touch — honoring both basketball history and family legacy.

In the new Nike short film Rings-N-Things, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson steps into a jewelry shop only to find Natalia Bryant behind the counter.

When Brunson reaches for a pair of all-white Kobe 3 Protro sneakers, Natalia pulls them away with the quip, “You reach, I teach,” echoing the kind of competitive spirit her father was known for. She then puts Brunson through a test, questioning whether he’s truly worthy of the shoes, before playfully denying him.

The moment isn’t just scripted flair — the sneaker itself pays tribute to Natalia in a deeply meaningful way. Its new diamond-shaped detailing on the upper and outsole nods to her middle name, Diamanté, symbolizing her permanent link to the Kobe line.

While Jalen Brunson brings star power to the ad, it’s Natalia’s presence that bridges Kobe’s legacy with a new generation.

Her involvement marks one of the most visible collaborations between the Bryant family and Nike since Kobe’s passing in 2020, showing how his influence extends beyond the court and into culture, family, and memory.

The Kobe 3 Protro “Halo” drops this Saturday, August 23 — a date that would have marked Kobe Bryant’s 47th birthday.
