“When you water something down, you lose the quality, which then loses the investors and investments. ‘Cause it’s not bringing back any profit.”

The Trinidadian MC said that labels tried to replace her with women who can’t rap!

Nicki Minaj revealed how disappointed she was by the current state of female hip-hop artists.

She called out industry stakeholders for signing female rappers with deficient rapping ability to replace her.

“When you water something down, you lose the quality, which then loses the investors and investments. ‘Cause it’s not bringing back any profit. And that is why people who do not understand rap are judging rap,” Nicki blasted on the Opinionated_Truth radio show.

The 41-year-old spoke about people who don’t know music becoming authorities on it.

She continued, “Why? It’s because the same way y’all used to get mad and say, ‘Who’s actually voting for the Grammys? Well, guess what? You have no idea.

“Most of the people voting for those awards don’t listen to that kind of music that they are voting for. Most people. People don’t actually listen to the kind of music they are speaking on.”

Nicki Minaj has been promoting her new albumPink Friday 2. And on the album, she also tears into other femcees and the hip-hop game theatrics.

The Barbz leader went in hard on the problem in her usual blunt manner.

“Rap should sound like f***ing rap! That’s y’all f***ing problem, and that’s why all of the record labels– not all, but some– are scrambling so badly because they are about to go f***ing bankrupt. ‘Cause they were trying so bad to replace this one b***h,” Nicki Minaj exploded on air

Watch the fireworks below:

Nicki’s words stirred up a firestorm on social media as the internet faced division over her fierce submission.

One person whose voice has risen over the chaos to challenge the Trinidadian MC is The Breakfast Club alum Jess Hilarious.

According to Jess Hilarious, Nicki Minaj is part of the problem because she only features weak female rappers on her projects.
