If the news is true, then it is truly a sad day in trap music. Reports allege that City Girls star JT and rapper Lil Uzi Vert have called it quits.
On Tuesday, one-half of the Miami rap duo tweeted a one-word tweet that sent Twitter into a tizzy.
“SINGLE!” the tweet read. She has since taken the tweet down. Neither JT nor Uzi has yet to respond to the tweet. Complex reached out to an Uzi representative who said that his team had no comment.
It was over a year ago when Uzi confirmed that the couple was together after telling fans he loves her “and y’all will too.”
Since then, the pair has been 0n-again, off-again including a source telling Complex in April that they had broken up over “dumb a*s sh*t.”
It hasn’t stopped JT from putting in work, though. Earlier this month, the Miami star teamed up with Nicki Minaj for a studio album the Queens rapper is working on. JT was also featured on Minaj’s Queen mix of her latest single “Super Freaky Girl.” Meanwhile, Uzi is making his rounds on stage and recently appeared at the 2022 ComplexCon festival.
Their reported breakup comes just months before Uzi gifted JT a MacLaren…..
