Rihanna is expecting her first child with rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
The singer debuted her bare baby bump during a stroll through Harlem over the weekend.
In the snaps, Rihanna is seen wearing a long pink jacket and ripped denim jeans. Her bump is bedecked in a gold cross and bejeweled chain.
There have been reports that the singer could have been expecting after she was seen out and about…seemingly concealing her growing bump.
Their romance was confirmed in November 2020. During an interview with British Vogue that year, she said she wanted three of four children.
“Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient,” Rihanna said in the interview. “I’ll have kids — three or four of ’em.”
She added, “I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong …’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives,” she said. “But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
Prior to dating, they had been close friends for years. In a 2021 cover interview with GQ, he gushed about the singer.
“[It’s] so much better,” he said. “So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”
He also expressed his excitement over the prospect of tying the knot and having children with the Bajan beauty.
“If that’s in my destiny, absolutely,” he told the outlet.
“I think I’m already a dad! All these motherf—kers are already my sons—whatchu talkin’ ’bout!” Rocky continued. “Nah, but like, I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad,” he continued. “I would have a very fly child. Very.”
