Tasha K recently dished her thoughts on the couple’s rekindled relationship. The blogger believes that Ashanti is doing too much to please the rapper!
On the latest episode of her show, the blogger singled out Ashanti for criticism for throwing two birthday parties for Nelly and gifting him an expensive vintage Chevy Impala dream car on his 49th birthday.
According to Tasha K, Ashanti is a high-value woman who should start acting her worth instead of running after Nelly – and still not getting the ring.
“Ashanti, y’all doing too much. I just want to understand why we need to see his face on a purse. If y’all are really together, why do y’all need to have 3-4 birthday parties? Why do you need to buy him a car? Why does he need to buy you everything but a ring?” Tasha K’s rant began.
Tasha K continued to drag the singer for buying Nelly his childhood dream car with her own money. Tasha pointed out that another girl would enjoy the car “when they break up”.
“Bought him his dream car.’ Now, mind you, when they break up, he’s gon’ have another b*h in the dream car. She bought it. She didn’t lease it. You can’t lease those cars. This is her purchase. Now, I know a lot of people are here for this couple, but let’s just cut the st and just make it official. Why are you putting all this out? You’re putting everything out,” Tasha K continued, questioning gifts Ashanti bought for Nelly’s birthday last month.
Before she ended her explosive episode, Tasha K took one last swipe at Ashanti, hitting quite close to home with a “she’s probably scared to have kids because word is on the street that her daddy used to, like… Moving on.”
Ashanti and Nelly are back together almost 10 years after their relationship ended in 2013. The couple made their relationship official earlier this year.
