Fans of the iconic “Bad Boys” franchise are buzzing with excitement as Martin Lawrence and Will Smith gear up to reprise their roles as Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowery in the highly anticipated fourth installment.

However, recent news of a casting change has stirred mixed feelings among fans. Last May, it was announced that Tasha Smith would be stepping into the role of Marcus’ wife, Theresa Burnett, replacing Theresa Randle.

The decision came after a viral video showed Randle in a concerning state, prompting speculation about her health.

A short 16-second clip shows Randle wearing an oversized Disneyland resort sweatshirt while sitting on a walker with blue latex gloves on her hands as she spoke to a young boy out of the camera’s frame.

Assuming she was battling with an illness or drug abuse, fans began wishing her a speedy recovery.

While many expressed disappointment over Randle’s departure, others welcomed Smith’s addition to the cast.

However, some fans voiced their concern about the absence of Randle, who has been a part of the franchise since its inception in 1995.

Despite the casting shakeup, Smith is thrilled to join Lawrence and Smith on set. In a recent radio interview, she shared her excitement about working with her longtime friends and clarified that she auditioned for the role of Theresa.

“Bad Boys: Ride or Die” promises to be Smith’s biggest film yet, and she is eager to bring her talent to the worldwide audience.

The film, set to hit theaters on June 7, is expected to deliver the high-octane action and humor that fans have come to love from the franchise.
