It’s been a busy week for Taraji P. Henson. Following the news of her officially launching the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation in honor of her late father, the release of her upcoming movie “What Men Want” was also released this week!
The film is a remake of the 2000 comedy which starred Mel Gibson and Helen Hunt titled “What Women Want.” In the movie, after a near-fatal accident, Gibson’s character is able to hear the thoughts of every woman he crosses paths with, forcing him to make some very real changes in his life as well as providing some thigh-slapping laughs along the way.
In the movie, successful sports agent Ali Davis (Henson) is constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. After losing a well-deserved promotion to a lesser qualified colleague, she questions what else she needs to do to succeed in a man’s world… until she gains the ability to hear men’s thoughts! With her newfound power, Ali looks to outsmart her colleagues as she races to sign the next basketball superstar but at what cost?
Tracy Morgan, Richard Roundtree, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Josh Brener, Tamala Jones, Phoebe Robinson, Max Greenfield, Jason Jones, Brian Bosworth, Chris Witaske and Erykah Badu also star in the movie.
