Cardi is trending on Twitter today after she unleashed new song, âBe Carefulâ â a scathing warning to her fiance, Offset. Of course, her fans on social media are lapping it up. The track is probably the most vulnerable weâve heard Cardi B before â an element which was much needed for her project to be a success.
Cardi B shows that she can make and execute a track that is more than a typical club banger.
On the song, she raps:
âI wanna get married, like the Currys, Steph and Ayesha sh*t / But we more like Belly; Tommy and Keisha sh*t / Gave you TLC, you wanna creep and sh*t / Poured out my whole heart to a piece of sh*t / Man, I thought you wouldâve learned your lesson / âBout liking pictures, not returninâ texts / I guess itâs fine, man, I get the message / You still stutter after certain questions / You keep in contact with certain exes / Do you, though / Trust me, n*gga, itâs cool, though / Said that you was workinâ, but youâre out here chasinâ culoâ
She also continues:
âI was here before all of this / Guess you actinâ out now, you got an audience / Tell me where your mind is, drop a pin, whatâs the coordinates? / You might have a fortune, but you lose me, you still gonâ be misfortunate, n*gga / Tell me, this loveâs got you this f*cked up in the head / You want some random bitch up in your bed?â
Cardi also sings on the track. Reviews are mixed on social media over whether or not she bodied the track, but we think hearing Cardiâs raw emotions adds an edge to the song.
âInvasion Of Privacyâ drops next week, April 6th.
