Cardi B has escalated her feud with ex-husband Offset, threatening legal action after he accused her of cheating while pregnant.
The 31-year-old called out her estranged husband, Offset, amid their impending divorce, had a heated argument on Instagram Live on September 25.
Cardi B announced her third pregnancy just hours after filing for divorce from Offset. The “WAP” rapper’s rep confirmed that she had filed for divorce from her seven-year spouse.
According to reports, Cardi B asked for primary custody of their two children, Wave and Kulturea. According to Cardi’s representative, the divorce application “is not based on any one particular incident; it has been a long time coming and is amicable.”
Cardi and Offset reunited for their son Wave’s third birthday party despite their ongoing divorce. The former couple put aside their differences for their child’s special day.
Offset also appeared at the hospital when Cardi B welcomed their first child. Without knowledge of their impending divorce, fans could have easily mistaken the couple for having mended their marriage.
Now, it seems reconciliation may not happen, as what began as a series of cryptic social media posts quickly escalated into a heated Instagram Live session.
On September 25, Cardi B went live on Instagram to air out her frustrations with her husband, Offset. She revealed that the Migos rapper threatened to take away gifts he had previously bought her during their marriage.
Cardi expressed her frustration over Offset’s behavior in recent months, claiming that he believes he can “just buy a b**ch.”
She also clarified that she wanted to move on from the relationship and urged Offset to do the same.
“Since you wanna threaten me, talking about you wanna take my sh*t cause I wanna move on? Move on,” she said while reminding him of his past infidelity. “It’s no fun when momma got the gun, right?”
The former Migos rapper did not keep quiet, taking to the comments section to fire back at Cardi B.
“U f–ked with a baby inside, tell the truth!!,” Offset commented during the Live.
Shortly after Offset’s comment, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “AND DID!!!!!!”
