Rep. Jasmine Crockett Delivers Fiery Call for Unity at Dallas Rally: ‘It’s Time For Us To Come Together Like Yesterday’

U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Dallas) urged Texans to put aside divisions and stand united during a rally in South Dallas on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025.

Addressing hundreds of supporters, she said Democrats must come together if they hope to “beat Donald Trump and his cronies” in 2026.

With a passionate speech, Crockett explained that unity is not only a political necessity but also a patriotic duty.

“It’s time for us to come together like yesterday,” she declared, warning against efforts to divide Americans along racial, economic, and geographic lines.

The congresswoman criticized Republican leaders for pushing budget cuts to healthcare, food assistance, and education while simultaneously enriching corporations and billionaires.

They don’t want to talk about how Elon Musk is getting $8 million a day from the government,” Crockett said. “What they want you to do is hate your neighbor… The reality is that the only takers are the ones sitting in power right now, Donald Trump and his cronies.”

She further highlighted the struggles facing farmers and rural communities, challenging the long-held perception that Republican policies serve their interests.

“They divided us—rural and urban,” Crockett noted. “But right now, we got farmers that are struggling.”

The rally drew a large and energized crowd, reflecting Crockett’s growing influence within Texas politics as Democrats prepare for critical battles ahead of the 2026 election cycle.
