Alicia Keys, the 16-time Grammy-winning icon, is set to receive the prestigious Dr. Dre Global Impact Award at the Recording Academy Honors presented by the Black Music Collective.
The event will take place on Jan. 30, 2025, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
The Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, introduced in 2023, recognizes artists whose contributions extend beyond music, celebrating entrepreneurial ventures, philanthropy, and cultural influence.
Alicia Keys follows previous honorees Dr. Dre and Jay-Z in receiving this high honor.

Alicia Keys’ illustrious career includes 16 Grammy wins, tying her with Adele as the fourth most-awarded woman in Grammy history. Her debut hit, Fallin’, earned Song of the Year in 2001 and launched her into international stardom.
Beyond her musical achievements, Keys is a powerhouse entrepreneur, running ventures like AK Worldwide, her lifestyle brand Keys Soulcare, and KrucialKeys, her production company.
As a philanthropist, Keys co-founded Keep a Child Alive in 2003, an organization combating HIV/AIDS, and spearheaded a $1 billion fund to support Black-owned businesses. Her efforts continue to influence industries and inspire global change.
Broadway and Beyond
Keys recently ventured into theater with Hell’s Kitchen, a musical inspired by her life journey.
The production earned 13 Tony nominations and won two, further cementing her status as a creative trailblazer. Her work on the show has garnered her a Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theater Album for the 2025 ceremony.
