“Selling Sunset” star Bre Tiesi is setting the record straight about her unconventional but fulfilling relationship with Nick Cannon, calling it the healthiest bond she’s ever experienced.
The Selling Sunset star recently opened up on the “Wednesday” podcast, where she candidly discussed her dynamic relationship with Nick Cannon, who shares multiple children with other partners.
Bre didn’t shy away from the public’s curiosity about their unique arrangement, emphasizing that she’s happy, fulfilled, and confident in their connection.
“I’d like to be very clear. We don’t co-parent, we are very much together,” Tiesi told host Sophie Habboo. “And that’s why people are confused.”
The 33-year-old reality star explained that while their relationship doesn’t fit traditional molds, it works perfectly for them. She also revealed that she isn’t the jealous type and prefers a relationship that’s anything but traditional.
“Me and my partner have been on and off for years,” she added. “Basically, he has other partners, and we’re just open and happy, and that’s our thing… People call it all kinds of (stuff), I call it ‘I do what I want to do.”
“I don’t want a full, live-in person I’m responsible for,” she explained. “I’m responsible for my child. Honestly, which is so crazy, this is probably the healthiest relationship I’ve ever had. We never fight, there’s no toxicity, no arguments, nothing,” Bre added.
The Netflix star described Cannon as an “incredible father” who is “extremely engaged” with their 2-year-old son Legendary, who is also “infatuated” with his dad. She further elaborated on their living arrangement, mentioning that they “both have busy work schedules and travel frequently,” and that they have designated evenings for yoga, weekends for sports, and that Cannon is “deeply involved.”
Cannon frequently garners attention for his personal life outside of his professional endeavors, especially as a father of 12 children with various women, including twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom he co-parents with his ex-wife Mariah Carey.
Some people commend Cannon for his dedication to being an engaged and nurturing parent, while others wonder about how he balances such a sizable family.
Although their connection may not conform to societal expectations, Bre Tiesi is unashamed of their relationship.
“I know people don’t get it, and I don’t care that people don’t get it,” she said.
