Beyoncé marked the 10th anniversary of her landmark album Lemonade with a beachside Instagram post that quickly drew attention from fans reflecting on the project’s impact and speculating about what may come next.
On April 23, the singer shared a carousel of images to commemorate the 2016 release. In the opening photo, Beyoncé posed on the beach in a beige long-sleeve jumpsuit cinched at the waist with a brown leather belt. She styled the look with oversized gold hoop earrings and a flower crown, holding a full bottle of her SirDavis whisky in one hand while raising three lemons in the other. The visual detail sparked conversation in the comments, with fans suggesting the lemons could hint at the next installment of her ongoing album trilogy, widely referred to as Act III, though no official title or release date has been confirmed.

Additional images in the post showed Beyoncé walking toward the shoreline and capturing moments from a sunset dinner by the water. She captioned the post with a message acknowledging the milestone and expressing gratitude for the album’s journey over the past decade.

When Lemonade debuted, it extended Beyoncé’s streak as a chart force, becoming her sixth consecutive No. 1 album on the Billboard 200. The project produced multiple charting singles, including “Formation,” “Sorry,” “Hold Up,” “Freedom,” and “All Night,” each securing spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and contributed to the album’s commercial success.

The anniversary arrives as Beyoncé continues to build out a multi-part musical era. She launched the trilogy in 2022 with Renaissance (Act I), followed by Cowboy Carter (Act II) in 2024. In a press release shared through Parkwood Entertainment at the time of Cowboy Carter’s release, she explained that the album had been years in the making and that its rollout shifted during the pandemic.
With a decade now behind Lemonade, the anniversary post not only revisited one of the most defining projects in her catalog but also kept attention on what could follow as the trilogy continues to unfold.
