Faith Evans faces shocking allegations of cutting Notorious B.I.G.’s late mother, Voletta Wallace, out of a $100 million catalog deal.

According to newly surfaced court documents, Wayne Barrow, the executor of Voletta Wallace’s estate (Biggie’s mother), has filed a lawsuit accusing Faith of hoarding proceeds from a $100 million catalog sale tied to the late rapper’s music legacy.

Before her passing earlier this year, Voletta Wallace, a beloved figure in hip-hop and a tireless protector of her son’s legacy, reportedly helped negotiate a massive deal with Primary Wave, selling 50% of Biggie’s music portfolio. The agreement was said to be worth $100 million.

After her death in February, Faith Evans became the sole manager of Biggie LLC, the entity in charge of overseeing the late rapper’s brand, image, and catalog.

But now, Barrow and the Wallace estate claim Faith cut them out completely: financially and operationally.

They say not a single dollar from the historic sale has reached the trust. And worse, the estate is accusing Faith of treating the trust like it doesn’t even exist — allegedly keeping the profits for herself and Biggie’s children, Ty’anna and CJ Wallace, while ignoring the estate’s rightful 50% stake.

“She hasn’t given the trust a dime,” Barrow told Billboard. “She’s been moving like we don’t exist.”

Barrow isn’t just asking for a cut, he’s demanding the court order Faith to hand over the trust’s full share of the proceeds from the Primary Wave deal. He’s also requesting that she be removed as manager of Biggie LLC, with Barrow stepping in to oversee Biggie’s legacy and ensure funds make their way to the Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation, a charity tied to the estate.

Biggie’s story is sacred to hip-hop, and his mother, Voletta, played a massive role in protecting that legacy. From overseeing documentaries to standing firm during the East Coast vs. West Coast chaos, she made sure her son’s name was honored, not exploited.

Now that she’s gone, this legal drama is raising eyebrows, especially among fans who’ve always viewed Faith and Voletta as united in preserving Biggie’s image.

So far, Faith Evans has not publicly responded to the lawsuit or the accusations.
