A group of British women isn’t pleased with Chris Brown and his team after alleging that they were not allowed to attend a VIP party he was hosting at a London nightclub.
“We were supposed to go to see Chris Brown and there were thousands of girls lining up there. Thousands of girls, and they were not getting in. And we were supposed to be on the VIP guest list,” one of the women said on a video posted on Twitter.
“They forgot to tell us that Black girls ain’t allowed,” another woman said.
“They were literally handpicking these White girls…I’m not racist, but…”
“London you are shaking my life,” another jokingly said, while another said “If you don’t laugh you’ll cry. Guys, I swear…they’re only letting White chicks in. This night has been….a night.”
This is not the first time the singer has been accused of being a colorist.
In 2021, TikTik user @ashlyepic posted a video of her lip synching the lyrics to Baby It’s Alright and wrote over the clip: “When Bhris Breezy told me I was too dark to get into his party.”
“Idk why I still like him I must like abuse,” she wrote in the caption.
Another woman then chimed in stating that she was standing in line at a Chris Brown event in Los Angeles with her two light-skinned friends and one white friend. According to her, the Virginia native allowed her friends in the party but told her “no darkies” allowed. She was then asked to leave.
