The “No More Parties” rapper revealed on Instagram that she’s expecting her first child with Trippie Redd, and the internet can’t handle it.
When did Coi Leray start dating Trippie Redd? Coi Leray and fellow rapper Trippie Redd dated for a number of months in 2019, but the pair went through a tumultuous public split that year.
On Trippie’s album A Love Letter to You 4, he explicitly spoke about their relationship in a track called ‘Leray.’ The lyrics say: “It was love from the moment we met, but it turned to misery after just two months / Constantly feeling messed up, whether it was because of love or the lack of it.”
The couple reunited in August 2024. Redd acknowledged their reignited relationship with TMZ in September and mentioned the possibility of working together in the studio again. Since then, they’ve been posting glimpses of their relationship on social media.
Sharing the pregnancy news in true rock star fashion, Coi posted a carousel of photos showcasing her growing baby bump, a sweet nod to Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch,” and an adorable drawing of the word “Mommy” in cursive. The post’s caption, “I’m a rock star mommy 💋 we ready for 2025 🖤,” captured her excitement as she embraced this new chapter.
The post showcased images of a drawing with “Mommy” written in cursive and a picture of Stitch from the Disney classic “Lilo & Stitch.” Leray was holding her baby bump, and the two were next to each other by a ping-pong table, celebrating their upcoming addition.
