K. Michelle dropped a surprising truth, revealing that it took her husband an entire ten years to propose to her. She openly expressed that she sometimes feels her personality may come across as “masculine” and could be challenging for some men to handle.
“Yeah, it took my husband a long time to marry me,” K. Michelle stated in the video. “I’m being honest. I wasn’t exactly wife material. I think I can be a bit masculine sometimes. I was probably a lot for him.” Additionally, she shared an unexpected detail about a past relationship, admitting, “I was in a relationship, we split up, and I got married to someone else a week later. I don’t mind; that’s just real life.”
Just last week, K. Michelle surprised her fans by announcing her marriage. In a heartfelt message, she discussed the challenges of balancing her personal life with her music career, particularly as she prepares to venture into the country music scene.
“I’m not always in the best place emotionally. I’m human. I can be really challenging to work with when recording because I’m very detail-oriented. I’m also feeling overwhelmed with my career, motherhood, and the pressure of wanting to give my husband a child right away (which I genuinely want to do for him) while diving into this new music genre,” she revealed.
