Gorgeous actress La La Anthony has filed for divorce amid reports that her estranged husband, Carmelo Anthony, fathered twins with another woman.
La La and Carmelo have been married for 11 years.
The couple initially split in April 2017 but reconciled the following year. In 2019 they were living apart as La La sought legal guidance on how to move forward with the relationship.
“As La La and Carmelo have been living apart for quite some time, La La is proceeding with legal discussions as the next step in their relationship,” a representative for La La told People at the time.
They have not released a statement on their most recent split.
Meanwhile, a woman is claiming that Melo is the father of her twins.
During an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, the unnamed woman alleges she met Carmelo last year in New York. She says they remained in contact and spoke “almost every day,” before finally meeting and becoming intimate.
She says she did not feel bad about sleeping with the married athlete because she “who’s f*cking LaLa too!” The woman said that she initially agreed to terminate the pregnancy but needed a medical termination which would require somebody to attend with her. Melo did not turn up.
She says the pair agreed that she would have the twins in Britain to avoid any controversy. She also says he’s agreed to support her and the children financially but that he does not want to publicly acknowledge them or have a relationship with them.
“I’ve seen my wrong in the situation and I should’ve never let this get this far, but I don’t want my kids to suffer,” she told Jason Lee. She wants Melo to acknowledge their children and to have a relationship with them.
The basketball star has not addressed her claims.
