NEW YORK — “Love & Hip Hop” New York star Erica Mena has reportedly admitted to destroying her husband, Safaree Samuels’ property after she allegedly caught him cheating.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Erica puts her hands up to trashing the personal items toward the end of her pregnancy, citing his “numerous acts of infidelity,” as the reason.
Last month, her estranged husband filed a lawsuit against the mother of three, claiming she damaged $30,000 of his personal property.
In the lawsuit, he claimed that Erica “destroyed two motorcycles and a four-wheeler motorbike by pouring paint all over the motorcycles, and directly into the exhaust pipes and gas tanks of all the vehicles. He says her goal was pretty clear, render his beloved bikes useless.”
However, the reality television star appears to recognize that what she did was wrong. She provided evidence that she’s already made a payment to him of $4,000.
She says that his amount of $30,000 is way off.
Safaree also asked the judge to hold Erica in contempt for violating their domestic relations standing order, per TMZ — but his request has not been granted.
However, they have a restraining order in place that bars both parties from harassing each other or destroying each other’s property during the divorce.
Earlier this month, Erica accused Safaree Samuels of sleeping with Kaylin Garcia. Kaylin used to star on the show and is the ex of rapper-turned-podcaster Joe Budden.
“@Kaylin_Garcia real talk I been in the shoes of dealing with a man who lived a double life and I had no clue he was married. But you ! Know Safaree is married,” the reality television star wrote on Instagram Story.
Kaylin did not publicly respond to Erica’s allegations. Safaree also did not respond to Erica’s allegations. He just wants his property.
