Nicki Minaj held a star-studded Livestream on Instagram Thursday night.
During the livestream, Nicki interview rapper Lil Wayne and previewed her remix of BIA’s “Whole Lotta Money.”
While it clear that Nicki is back, booked and busy, speaking to her fans, she revealed that her busy schedule sometimes leaves her racked with guilt.
“To the women that have to get up and go to work every day and leave the baby or put the baby in day care, God bless you,” Minaj said. “Like, I know that’s not easy. Like, I can do a photoshoot for two hours and when I see my baby, I feel guilty. I feel like, ‘Oh, my God.'”
In October, Minaj gave birth to her son with Kenneth “Zoo” Petty. Their son is just nine months old.
She continued to gush about her son, telling the Barbz he is a “people person.”
“I didn’t know if that was gonna happen, [whether] he was gonna love people. He’s so in love with his grandma. She’s built a really dope bond with him since he was born,” she shared. “As soon as she comes downstairs or whatever, he’ll wait right there asking her to pick him up. She’ll pick him up and then he’ll be, like, caressing her face and staring at her. Obsessed.”
Nicki has posted few pictures of her son and has chosen to keep his name away from the public. In December, she shared a few details of her birthing experience.
“As soon as I started scooting over to him in the bed I just felt the water start coming out. I was weirdly calm & I quietly said ‘omg, I’m about to be in labor,'” Minaj recalled, adding that she was in neighbor all night.
“I pushed for 2½ hours. Only b/c first the epidural didn’t wear off enough for me to feel myself pushing. Once I was able to feel the pain I pushed him on out,” she wrote.
