“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Marlo Hampton kicked off her first season as an official peach holder, but that has not changed her outspoken ways.
Kandi Burruss has already felt the sting of Marlo’s shade, and now, she says Shereé Whitfield can do better than her current boyfriend, Tyrone Gilliams.
Tyrone was recently released from prison.
“I definitely don’t want her [with him]. She can do better,” Marlo told Page Six in a recent interview. “He’s a jerk,” she continued. “Like, who does that? I was so pissed. I was done after that. When he stood her up, I’m like, ‘Oh no, forget him. Don’t forget who the hell you are.'”
Gilliams served 10 years in prison for wire fraud in October 2013 after he and his lawyer allegedly ripped off investors to the tune of $5 million.
The couple has an on-off relationship dating back to 2013. Marlo believes she knows the kind of man who would make the perfect partner for Shereé
“Shereé needs … a confident and strong man,” she says. “And one who has a good sense of humor because she has her guards up as well, because she’s a tough woman. She definitely has to have a strong guy that can still turn into a teddy bear to show her a softer side,” she said.
Tyrone was released early due to COVID-19. Tyrone began filming but reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to Bravo shortly after filming began regarding the use of his name and likeness without his permission.
The designer is standing by her man.
“I love him and I have said it before, if he comes home, and I am still available and everything is great, what he is doing and what he says he is going to do, then absolutely I can see a future,” she said.
