Rihanna is showing the world just how much of a protective mama she can be after she clapped back at a social media user who questioned why she referred to her nine-month-old son as “fine” in a recent Instagram post.
“My son so fine! Idc idc idc! How crazy both of my babies were in these photos and mommy had no clue thank you so much @edward_enninful and @inezandvinoodh for celebrating us as a family,” she wrote on a caption of a photo of her latest British Vogue cover where she is seen gallivanting on the beach with her Harlem beau A$AP Rocky and son in tow.
“Who calls a baby fine,” one fan questioned.
“His mother!!!” the Bajan beauty retorted, taking no time to respond.
The entertainment mogul and billionaire then snapped at another bitter fan, writing “You just keep your lil cougar paws away from him and we good.”
Rihanna broke the internet (again) when her rep confirmed on Sunday evening shortly after her epic Super Bowl performance that she was pregnant with her second child.
It will be the singer’s second child with A$AP.
The 34-year-old said during the NFL’s halftime show press conference she was unsure if she wanted to confirm performing at the Super Bowl so soon after giving birth to her first child, but acknowledged that being a mother was her biggest inspiration to get back on stage.
“I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum,” she said. “Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this.’”
“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything,” she continued. “And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for my son to see that.”
