Mama Wilson herself, Tammy Wilson, stepped onto the digital battlefield to silence Trevone Boykin, who decided to criticize Russell Wilson over Thanksgiving dinner publicly.

If you didn’t catch the earlier drama, Trevone Boykin recently went to social media to share his experience of a past Thanksgiving spent at the extravagant home of Russell Wilson and Ciara. Boykin described the intimate dinner as “weird,” noting that Russell’s broader family was absent. He remarked that if he had Wilson’s financial means and his “Alaska Airlines connection,” he would ensure everyone was flown in for an elaborate Thanksgiving feast. The gathering reportedly included only Ciara, Russell, the nanny, baby Future, Boykin, and a few others, while the rest of the family was away participating in a tournament.

The comment quickly went viral, sparking the inevitable social media debate over Russell Wilson’s personal life and whether he was keeping his distance from his family.

That’s when Tammy Wilson stepped boldly into the comment section to deliver the definitive clapback. She wasn’t playing about her son being cut down by outsiders.
Her message was direct, protective, and referenced Boykin’s own messy history:
“I am his mom. It is none of your business. This is opportunistic. I am so tired of you men cutting down my son. Jesus said, to all accusing the woman, ‘he who is without sin cast the 1st stone.'”
She then addressed the specific circumstances of the holiday, explaining that part of the family was at a tournament and she was fasting. She went on to call out Boykin’s betrayal of trust, reminding him of Russell’s kindness:
“Russ thought enough of you, who has a criminal history, to love you enough to invite you over. This is why Russ keeps it moving. Folks are not trustworthy. Russ, though, will forgive, but not again. I hope you felt relevant for a few minutes. Lord, forgive him for he know not what he is doing.”

And then Mama Tammy Wilson sealed the deal with the ultimate flex, adding one more perfect sign-off: “and we got our own money.”
