Tiffany Haddish, known for her comedic prowess and candid anecdotes, shared a unique dating strategy during her recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The 44-year-old comedian revealed that she used to invite her therapists along on her dates to help assess potential suitors.

Describing her unconventional approach, Haddish explained how she would ask her therapists to join her on dinner dates to meet her potential partners.

Following the date, she would reconvene with her therapist the next day to discuss their impressions of the person.

Despite seeking their professional opinion, Haddish admitted that she often disregarded their advice and pursued relationships anyway.

Reflecting on her past experiences, she humorously acknowledged that her therapists were usually right about her suitors.

“No, I had to learn, because the therapist was telling me don’t date that person, and I’d be like ‘Oh, okay,’ and then I would date them anyway. And then I was like ‘Oh dang, the therapist was right,’ ” she said.

Haddish’s dating history includes a previous marriage and a relationship with actor-rapper Common.

However, she recently announced that she is embracing celibacy as part of her journey towards self-improvement.

She shared insights into her decision during a podcast appearance, noting that her focus on fitness helps channel any sexual frustrations.

Haddish’s candid revelations about her dating life continue to captivate her many fans, and her openness during these interviews provides a glimpse into her comedic charm and personal growth journey.
