Vivica A. Fox and her ex-boyfriend 50 Cent may not be on the best terms, but the actress recently confessed that she feels back for the dragging her fans gave Cuban Link on her behalf.

Fox appeared on an interview with VladTV, spoke about her love for the rapper-turned-businessman.

“The love that I had for him, and still to this day, will always—he was the love of my life,” she gushed. “I will admit that without any reservations. He will always have a special place in my heart. But the reason that the relationship ended is because we went way too public, way too fast.”

Cuban then stepped into The Shade Room, where she dropped a shady comment, and the pair had a brief back and forth. Fox fans began to troll online before Cuban eventually apologized.

In a recent interview, Fox showed compassion for Fif’s current bae.

“I was surprised by her response but, you know, I get it,” Vivica told Hollywood Life. “It’s like she kind of felt like, ‘Oh my God, he’s my boyfriend and how dare you?’ I get that, but I tried to warn her and say, ‘Hey sweetie. I said something nice about you.’ But she had gotten so caught up in the response of the audience that she didn’t bother to look at me kind of warning her.”

She says back in the day, she wouldn’t have been as gracious.

“Normally old Vivica would have fought with her, but I had no reason to because I knew what I had said and I knew that the guy released snippets of the interview,” she explained. “And I felt bad for her to be very honest with you. At one point [the fans] were tagging me every time they were insulting her.”

She appreciates Cuban’s apology, adding that there “was no beef.”
