by Gee NY

Tragedy has struck the Charlotte community once again with the brutal murder of 47-year-old Glandina Dixon, who was killed just two days after her ex-husband died in a car crash.

Dixon was fatally attacked while entering a QuikTrip gas station in north Charlotte.

On the evening of the incident, surveillance video captured 53-year-old Sam Roary following Dixon into the gas station. Roary, who had previously been convicted of second-degree murder in 1989, retrieved a hammer from his truck before re-entering the store.

He then pursued Dixon into a women’s restroom where the fatal attack occurred.

According to detectives, Roary and Dixon were alone in the restroom for only 40 seconds before another patron discovered Dixon’s body.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, although it has been confirmed that Dixon and Roary were known to each other.

Previous Criminal Record

Roary’s violent past includes a 1989 conviction for second-degree murder at the age of 18. After serving time, he was released in 1995.

This recent incident has reignited concerns about his history of violent behavior.

The Charlotte community is in shock, and Dixon’s family is grieving this tragic loss.

The case continues to develop as investigators seek to understand the circumstances leading to this devastating crime.
