Yvonne Anuli Orji addresses her pent-up sexual energy in a candid confession about what it means to be a virgin at 39 years old in Hollywood.
The American-Nigerian actress, who has embraced keeping herself until her wedding night, jokingly revealed in an episode of Chelsea Handler’s podcast that her future husband would have to deal with a lot of action in the bedroom.
“Let me tell you right now. Pray for him. Whoever he is, you’ll need to pray for him because there’s a lot of pent-up energy up in here,” she said.
In 2017, Yvonne revealed why she chose to wait until marriage before having sex. “Insure” star opened up about how she honors her faith with her body.
“Before any of (the fame) happened, I sat down with myself and with God and thought, when I make it, how do you want me to represent You while I’m here?” she disclosed to Vogue.
But in another interview with LA Times, Yvonne got frank about the challenges of dating and navigating a hectic career in acting.
“I’ll be very honest. I was so focused on advancing in my career that I didn’t have enough emotional capacity for dating. But now, I’m actually at a point where life’s good.
“I used to do ‘foodie calls’. I know it’s bad. A foodie call is when you’re not necessarily interested in the guy. But you’re very interested in eating that night, and times are hard. It’s very different from a booty call because it really just ends after dinner,” the comedian disclosed.
In 2019, Yvonne Orji announced that she had broken up with her boyfriend Emmanuel Acho, a Nigerian-American FOX Sports analyst, after almost a year of dating.
The actress is currently enjoying her single status and virginity!
