Summer Walker has earned her first Billboard top spot with her album,” Still Over It.”

Walker’s project sold 166,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, according to MRC Data. The prequel, “Over It,” was released two years ago but entered the Billboard charts at No. 2, spending more than 100 weeks in the charts.

The singer currently has 18 songs from her new album, “Still Over It,” in the Billboard 200. The album makes history as the biggest streaming week ever in the U.S. for an R&B album by a woman as well as the first R&B album by a woman to top the chart since Solange’s “A Seat at the Table” five years ago. She now joins Taylor Swift as one of the only female artists in the chart’s history to place as many as 18 songs on the survey simultaneously.

And she managed it all with minimal promo.

Walker has been open about her struggles with social anxiety.

“I truly appreciate all the support and love. As you know, I have been very open about my struggle with social anxiety. I want to continue to be healthy and to make music for y’all, so I have decided to cut down some of the dates on the tour,” she wrote in November 2019. “I hope you all can understand. I’m grateful for every single one of you, and I hope that you understand that wellness/mental health is important. All cancelled dates will be refunded asap. Thank you.”

During an interview with The Face, Walker told the publication that not all artists have to be relatable nor available.

“I spent most of my time on instagram and on TikTok,” Walker said. “There’s this one lady … I can’t remember who, did this video on being an introvert and hows it’s ok. And how like, a lot of extroverts have a lot of narcissistic traits, like you don’t have to be loud. They make you feel like if you’re not loud there’s something wrong with you or something.”
