The Basketball Wives alumna took to Instagram Sunday to make the announcement, in which her left manicured hand is seen rocking a huge pear-shaped solitaire diamond.

According to his Instagram page, Gold is an investor who assists people in achieving financial freedom. The 30-year-old is a self-acclaimed, “8-Figure Wealth Portfolio Manager” and leads the Liquid Asset Automation, a firm designed to help students understand financial markets by providing tools to help them gain passive income.

The 48-year-old New Jersey native was married to Eric Williams, the 6-foot-8 forward who served 12 years in the NBA. The couple wed in 2007 and divorced in 2010.

In a 2020 ESSENCE interview, Williams spoke up about the trials and tribulations in her first marriage, including the infidelity she endured while married to the basketball athlete.

“I definitely have had some issues,” Williams began. “A lot of wives deal with that, whether they choose to admit it to their friends or not. That’s why I think it’s important to have a set of women who are going through the same things as you because they understand.

She further added that when she called her former husband out on his cheating, “He was sort of like, ‘I’m not gonna do this again.’ I just figured I need to concentrate on me and make myself better and what happens, happens. I can’t really control anyone else but myself. When he turns the corner I don’t know what he’s gonna do so I can’t overly worry myself about that. That’s how I [dealt] with it.

When the interviewer mentioned Williams appeared detached, she responded: “Not necessarily detached, but I focus on myself because I’ve learned the hard way. I’m taking things day by day. Like every other relationship, we have our ups and downs and right now we’ve made a decision to work on our marriage.”
