D’Lila and Jessie Combs, the 17-year-old twin daughters of Sean “Diddy” Combs and the late Kim Porter, paid a heartfelt tribute to their mother on the sixth anniversary of her passing.
Porter, a model and actress, died on November 15, 2018, at 47 from lobar pneumonia.
The twins shared a black-and-white photo on social media of Porter holding them as newborns.
“We can’t believe it’s been 6 years without you,” they captioned the post. “We think about you every single second of the day. We love and miss you so much words can’t even explain. We wish you were here with us, but we know your spirit will be around forever!! We love you, Mommy.”
Porter’s death left a deep void in her family’s life, with the Combs children recently addressing rumors about a memoir allegedly written by their mother.
In October, an unauthorized book, Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice From the Other Side…, was removed from Amazon after Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolf, denounced it as “fake” and “offensive.”
The Combs family released a statement clarifying:
“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.”
They added:
“Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed.”
The tribute comes as Diddy remains in custody following his September arrest on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He has been denied bond twice and is awaiting trial.
