If you’ve ever admired a flawlessly laid lace frontal on social media, chances are Frontal Queen by Olaoluwa had something to do with it.

As the founder and creative force behind one of the most talked-about wig brands in the game, Olaoluwa has turned her passion for hair into a full-on beauty movement.

Now, she’s sharing her favorite styles, breaking down myths, and revealing the products she can’t live without.

“I love a good curly lace frontal, it gives versatility, movement, and personality,” Olaoluwa says. “But lately, I’ve been obsessed with bob units. They’re sleek, easy to maintain, and scream luxury without doing too much.”

For Olaoluwa, wigs aren’t just fashion statements, they’re protective, empowering, and deeply personal. Her mission? To help women, especially Black women, feel confident while protecting their natural hair.

But with popularity comes misconceptions. One beauty myth she’s eager to bust? That wearing wigs will damage your edges. “It’s not the wig—it’s how you care for your hair underneath,” she emphasizes. “If you’re not moisturizing your scalp, over-gluing your lace, or skipping protective prep, that’s where the damage comes in. Wigs should enhance your beauty, not compromise it.”

As a self-proclaimed beauty minimalist with a glam streak, Olaoluwa swears by a few ride-or-die products. First up: a good lace adhesive. “It has to be strong but gentle. I love something that lasts but still melts into the skin.” She also can’t live without a satin edge band, which she calls the “unsung hero” of any install. “That’s how you get that melt!”

When it comes to self-care, she keeps it simple: hydration, deep conditioning, and rest. “You can’t slay a wig if your real hair and scalp are struggling underneath.”

With her signature blend of realness and style, Olaoluwa is redefining what it means to be a beauty boss. The Frontal Queen isn’t just about flawless hairlines, it’s about confidence, education, and embracing every crown, natural or not.

As she puts it, “Whether it’s 22 inches or 10, curly or straight, your wig is your canvas. Wear it like the royalty you are.”
