The search for 26-year-old Ash Lee Moore, also known as Ashlee Moore-Vongmepunt, has entered a critical phase as family members and law enforcement intensify efforts to locate the young woman, who has not been heard from since September.
Moore, who was reported missing from the Hartwell area of Cincinnati, is described as Black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, approximately 120 pounds, with a tattoo on her right arm and a nose piercing.
Her family says she was last in contact with her grandmother in September, but official reports indicate her disappearance may date back as far as August.
The silence, relatives say, is deeply out of character. Known for keeping in regular touch with loved ones, Moore’s sudden lack of communication has sparked mounting fear and an urgent push for public awareness.
“Family and friends, please share. We are praying for the safe return of my little cousin. We love you, Ash Lee,” her cousin Shante Jackson wrote in an emotional post shared widely on Facebook on Oct. 25.
Moore may be traveling toward Las Vegas, possibly driving a 2018 white Nissan Sentra. The vehicle could have either a temporary Ohio tag (T823089) or a temporary Nevada plate (696-MB6).
Jackson’s post, accompanied by a missing person flyer, has been reshared dozens of times as the family turns to social media to help bridge the distance and amplify their plea.
“We’ve called, texted, checked every lead,” Jackson said in her post. “This isn’t like her. We just need to know she’s safe.”
Authorities with the Cincinnati Police Department are also urging the public to remain vigilant, noting that time is crucial in missing persons investigations.
