Woman Accused of Shooting at Rihanna’s Home Loses Child — New Details Emerge

The woman accused of shooting at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home has lost custody of her child, with a Florida judge ordering that she have no contact unless it is approved by the child’s father.

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz is now barred from seeing her child until further order of the court. The ruling gives the child’s father full time-sharing, granting him complete custody and authority over the child’s daily life. The judge left limited room for exceptions, stating that any contact would require the father’s direct approval.

The custody decision follows earlier concerns raised in Florida, where Ortiz had been placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold prior to the incident involving Rihanna. Although Ortiz maintained that the hold was based on false accusations, the court noted the circumstances as part of its consideration.

The situation escalated in March, when Ortiz was arrested and charged with attempted murder after allegedly driving to Rihanna’s Los Angeles property and firing multiple rounds. Law enforcement sources indicated that Rihanna was at home at the time with her three children.

Ortiz remains in custody in California without bond as the criminal case moves forward. The Florida court has also paused the broader custody proceedings, deciding that any further action on modifying custody will wait until the outcome of the criminal case tied to the shooting allegations.

As the legal process continues across both states, the custody ruling stands as the most immediate development, placing full parental responsibility with the child’s father while Ortiz’s case unfolds.
