Adrean Miller, founder of Mah Melanin, is reshaping the gift-wrapping industry with a brand that celebrates cultural inclusivity.
What started as a modest startup has evolved into a groundbreaking business, now recognized as the first Black-owned gift-wrapping brand sold at Lowe’s and Hallmark stores.
Mah Melanin’s vibrant and culturally inspired designs have captured attention nationwide, with the brand also featured in Walmart, Sam’s Club, and QVC.
Endorsements from icons like Master P and Teddy Riley, as well as partnerships with the NBA, have further elevated its profile.
“When I founded Mah Melanin, I wanted to create more than just beautiful gift wrap,” said Miller. “I wanted to spark a movement – a place where our stories are told, our beauty is celebrated, and our community is uplifted.”
In addition to gift wrap, Mah Melanin offers backpacks, blankets, apparel, and more.
Their holiday-themed designs, including a Black Mrs. Claus and Black Elves sack, are perfect for the season. Gift wrap is available in single rolls or packs of four, all priced under $40.
